Fermented Foods

Thursday, October 19

Learn about the benefits of fermenting foods for gut health and the science behind lactic acid fermentation. This workshop will include a hands-on portion where participants prepare

sauerkraut to take home to ferment.

Sourdough Biscuits

Monday, October 30

6:00pm - 8:00pm

Learn how to create biscuits using sourdough discard during this hands-on class. This workshop will also cover making your own sourdough starter and the basics of sourdough bread baking.

Sharing Family History Through Food

Family memories are often tied to food. Sharing food activities with children provides opportunities to discuss memories about your life, family history, and culture.

Barn Quilt Workshop

Friday, November 3

9:00am - 4:00pm

$35 | $25 for OHCE Members

Learn the history of the Barn Quilt! You will be painting a barn quilt pattern of your choice on a 2'x2' board to display at your home or garden.

Registration fee includes all needed materials.
