Bethesda Cares Sandwich Lunch Program

OKC members prepare lunches on Sunday so the homeless and working poor will have them for Monday. Bethesda Cares, Inc. is a community outreach organization for Montgomery County's homeless and working poor. OKC volunteers purchase ingredients, prepare lunches at home (60 sandwiches, 30 pieces of fruit, 30 cookies) and deliver them to an area church. Volunteers are assigned two Sundays a year, at most. Interested? Contact Andy Shoyer .

Shepherd's Table

Families are needed to prepare and drop off bagged lunches each Thursday at the home of ECC parent Rebecca Cohen. Lunches are picked up by volunteers and delivered to Shepherd's Table where they are distributed to people in need.
