Old Friends - Thoroughbred Retirement Press Release

It's GIVING TUESDAY, a global day of action for people and communities to come together and support the causes they believe in. Old Friends provides a dignified retirement and sanctuary to Thoroughbreds whose racing and breeding careers have come to an end. We couldn't do what we do without you, and we hope you will continue to support Old Friends today by making a holiday donation to help our 200 retired equines.

The exciting news is that this year Facebook and PayPal will match #GivingTuesday donations made between 8:00 am (ET, 5:00 am PT) and 11:59 pm (PT) or when $7 million in donations is reached. But only today, November 27.    So why not  double the fun Donations up to $250,000 per nonprofit and $20,000 per donor are eligible to be matched.
