Dear OLG Families,

Happy 2023!!! It is still the Christmas season (yes those 12 days!) so Merry Christmas too! Join all families for the Epiphany this weekend at mass, especially for the fun Family Faith Sunday this weekend!

Our new Hot Lunch Program was the most exciting change students are talking about, but as adults then the launch of auction ticket sales is likely to be just as exciting (gather friends to buy a table of 8 together and save)! Also, read on below for more exciting news including CYO registration open for 3rd Grade Basketball and 4-8th Grade Volleyball ! Speaking of registration... keep an eye out for mid-year family survey & intent to re-enroll for next school year coming soon, AND our best enrollment event is OPEN HOUSE (Jan 29th)!!!

'Snowballs & Highballs' Auction TICKETING OPENS TOMORROW!

Ticket sales open tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 6, for our 2023 'Snowballs & Highballs' Auction on March 4, 2023: https://guadalupe-school.ejoinme.org/auctiontix2023

Dig out your coziest ski sweater and comfiest snow boots (or epic winter outfit of choice) and join fellow OLG parents and community members alike in a fantastic evening of off-piste shenanigans.

Your ticket includes passed appetizers, a catered dinner, and Dessert Dash, silent and live auctions, and entertainment by the cover band, the Haggis Brothers!
  • Already lined up your ski buddies (and/or bunnies) for the evening? Purchase an entire table before Feb. 1 and save $10 per ticket!
  • All paid attendees as of Feb. 1 will be entered into a class-wide drawing to win a commemorative Auction glassybaby! If more than half of your class is registered, two winners will be drawn!
  • Can't make the party of the year? Fight your FOMO/assuage your guilt by donating to our Teacher Ticket Fund!

Family Faith Sunday - This Sunday
Family Faith Sunday is this week for all families but particularly for first grade Sacrament Prep. Our theme this week is “Standing Together through the Mass.” We will take time as families to talk about why the Mass is important to us and to better understand it so we can participate more fully. 9:30-10:45 in the Walmesley Center (gym).

Sunday Morning Preschool Program Starting January
We are excited to be starting our Sunday Morning preschool program in late January. This will be during the 11:00 Mass. This is for pre-K children ages 3-5. Let us know of your interest

Save the Date - Day of Service - March 23rd
Exciting news for Day of Service for 2023 - we will be joined by St. George, St. Edward, St. Peter, and St. Paul parishes to have a multi-parish Day of Service. Day of Service is an opportunity for our communities to show our support for various agencies in the area. There will be a variety of projects on campus, at agencies, or to do at home. Mark your calendar for March 25th. Watch for signups in February!

Looking for Service Hours? Camera Operators are needed for our daily and weekend Masses. Time commitment would be once a week and/or as a sub. Training provided…it is simpler than you think! Contact Helen for more information.
