Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

Our OLG staff last week joined with Holy Rosary for a communal inservice day helping bring our professional learning communities closer together in prayer, reflection, and powerful sharing of our craft. Today at our All School Mass we continued touch on our school theme of the year, Breathe of Life, as we breathed our filtered air and heard the message of lighting the fires of the holy spirit. As Father Kevin brought us to our conclusion I thought of our human need to direct and channel the fires of our energies, whether literal fires in the woods, or the fire and passion we bring to our daily lives. As we move towards the end of our month of October, here are a few brief mentions of practical news of this week:

As we get excited for the holiday's ahead, remember that the fire in the soul is the one that must really be fed and tended to...whether attending Mass this Sunday, or next, or with our All Saints Day all-school Mass on November 1st, we can renew our spirit and avoid a smoldering smokey soul by being in community and enjoying the fresh air of life together!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

Parish Annual Report 2021-2022

Homeless Care Kits Update
Thanks to one of our RSVP group, we now have a continual supply of homeless care kits for people to take. They continue to need a variety of toiletries and small snacks (i.e., energy bars) but with cold weather approaching, they really need heavy duty socks. You can drop off your donations in the basket in the church vestibule, and you can pick up the care kits either in the church vestibule or parish office.

Adoration and Prayer
Parishioners are invited to come to the church and pray in our new Blessed Sacrament Chapel during the week. Just come by the Parish Office to get a key or call and we can arrange to meet you there and let you in. We wish we could keep the church unlocked but we can’t due to security. We are also in the process of scheduling Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament monthly. More to come…

REMEMBER TO VOTE… Be A Faithful Citizen "We need to participate for the common good. Sometimes we hear: a good Catholic is not interested in politics. This is not true: good Catholics immerse themselves in politics by offering the best of themselves so that the leader can govern."
