The FEAST OF ALL SAINTS is Tuesday, Nov 1. It is a holy day of obligation and masses will be celebrated at 9:00 am with our “little saints” from our 3rd grade class, and at 7:00 pm.
FEAST OF ALL SOULS MASS & RECEPTION... Wednesday, Nov 2 at 7:00 pm, join us for Mass to remember all our loved ones who have passed away, including parishioners this past year. A small reception will follow.
FAMILY FAITH SUNDAY: Nov 6 from 9:30-10:45. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your faith as a family, particularly for those with Kindergarten through 6th grade students. Families with students in Sacrament Prep 1 should attend, but all are invited. The November theme is Standing with Us: Saints and saints. We know of many canonized Saints. What qualities do we see in those Saints and their stories? Where do we see saints every day who also have those qualities? Even though some of us are “saints with tipped halos,” how do we grow in those qualities ourselves and in our families?
PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY: Little Lamb Teachers/Care Givers for our very young
children (6 months- 3 years) during the 11:00 am Masses. (Note: This is a stipend position and requires Safe Environment Training). Contact Helen Oesterle for more information.

REMEMBERING THOSE WHO HAVE DIED...During the month of November, beginning with the Feast of All Souls, we remember all those who have died, including parishioners from this past year. We invite you to bring a picture of your loved one and place it on the Memorial Table near our All Souls Banners. You can also write their names in our special Book of Prayer. We will keep all of them in our prayers. Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them. Amen.
REMEMBER TO VOTE… BE A FAITHFUL CITIZEN
"We need to participate for the common good. Sometimes we hear: a good Catholic is not interested in politics. This is not true: good Catholics immerse themselves in politics by offering the best of themselves so that the leader can govern." (Pope Francis) Visit our website to explore how you can love your neighbors by advocating as a faithful
citizen on behalf of those who are poor and vulnerable.
PLASTIC RECYCLING LABELED A “MYTH” AS U.S. RATES DROP TO 5%...The vast majority of plastic that people put into recycling bins is headed to landfills, or worse, according to a REPORT from Greenpeace. The report revealed that the amount of plastic turned into new things has fallen to new lows of around 5%. There are now
thousands of different types of plastic, and none of them can be melted down together. Plastic also degrades after one or two uses, and the more plastic is reused the more toxic it becomes. Many environmentalists and lawmakers are now pushing for legislation that bans single use plastics, and for "bottle bills"; which pay customers to
bring back their plastic bottles. Make a difference by supporting these efforts AND be conscious of the products you buy (including no more bottled water!).
