Dear Families,
What a gift it has been to have Jodee Blanco with us all afternoon today. I hope that many of you can join us tonight. She's given amazing presentations, and the Holy Spirit has really been in our midst. Today at my Principal meeting, I was reminded that the work that we do is fragile as educators, as are the children in our care. The work you do as parents is also fragile work. Not a one of us is perfect. But we all have the capacity to be saints in the making, as our faith, and baptism calls us to be. Tonight really speaks to what it means to seek to understand. As people of faith, we are called to be both windows and mirrors for our children; avenues to look out and see the broader world (windows), and opportunities for our children to see themselves in our choices and in our actions (mirrors). We are all fragile in many ways, just as windows and mirrors themselves are, but our children are a gift and reflections of God; every single one of them, precious and in His image. How often do we pause to recall this? Sometimes? Often? Never? Always? As you come tonight with open hearts, open minds and open ears, I invite you to seek to understand, and to look at ways that we can be both windows and mirrors for our children of today, to make a brighter tomorrow through our example, through our grace, through our compassion, and the ways in which we strive to grow, even as adults.

Uniform Exchange Update
Thanks to all the families that share back, donating outgrown uniforms to the uniform exchange. Please continue to bring in any of your blues sweatshirts, sweaters, skirts and jumpers that no longer fit and are still in good shape to the bin at the school office.
At this time, we can not take any more girls or boys pants or white shirts due to space. These items are not often requested and have been piling up. On the other hand, if you are in need of pants or white shirts, please send in a request to the uniform exchange since we can most likely fill it. As far as blues, sorry, extremely low inventory.

Update on Fr. Kevin
We have good news to share! Fr. Kevin recently stopped by the Parish Office to say hi. He had a special medical procedure that helped to address many of his symptoms and he is feeling much better. He is very thankful for all your prayers. But he still has a ways to go in his recovery so he continues to ask you for your prayers.
