Congratulations Jog-A-Thon runners!
Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

Last week I reported numbers prior to our Jog-a-thon... today I'm excited to report more than $29,000 has arrived! Wow what a blessing and great way to kick-off the school year! We will be celebrating our amazing efforts that have gone OVER the TOP of our $25,000 goal! Tomorrow is Spirit Wear for everyone in school: wear that Mariner's gear with pride... or any good OLG Spirit Wear !!! We'll also have a special awards assembly this coming Monday afternoon to wrap-up our Jog-a-thon and get things moving into our October events (see calendar and more below)!

Want to volunteer for the next big events (field trips and more)? TONIGHT there is a zoom Virtus training for first time volunteers to meet the Safe Environment standards -- Tonight (See more here)! Also TONIGHT is the second Auction Meeting of the year (see notes below/calendar)!

Over the next few weeks all students will be receiving the Archdiocese of Seattle's Teaching Safety - Empowering God's Children curriculum. This is an integral part of the Safe Environment program for students and is done twice a year (Oct & Apr). Teachers will present a safety lesson that is designed to better equip your child to know their rights, recognize their boundaries, and empower them to protect themselves when safe adults are not immediately available. If you do not wish to have your child participate, please complete the Opt-Out Form and return it to the school office.

As we move into October we also wrap-up our early Fall assessments (DIBELS, MAPS, and more) and get our support programs running into high gear! After School Tutoring begins next Wednesday (10/12) as in-class reading groups, Independent Study Geometry, as well as Sound Partners and others all get under way this month. Look for Conference Signups starting soon for the end of the moth Fall Conferences!

Note: 11am Sunday Mass is all in-person now... so great to see all the families last weekend at Catechetical Sunday (live-streaming continues at the 8:30am Mass)! Let's breathe deep and enjoy the good vibes as we move deeper into October.
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

Fulcrum Application deadline is in January,
but we ask you to complete it before Dec 16, OLG's Christmas Break!

WOW!!! Thank You OLG for such a fabulous event. Our preliminary total is $29,098! We can still accept donations if anyone wants to get us over the $30,000 mark:). Although donations can still be accepted, donations made after yesterday do not get counted toward class totals. Highest lap runners and the highest fundraising class will be announced on Monday at our school assembly.

Thank you so much to the volunteers that made this happen. We are so grateful you made the time to join us for such a fun day.

And great job to the runners!!! It was so much fun to watch the runners enjoying themselves and getting so much exercise. We are already looking forward to next year.
