Celebrating Catholic Schools Week together!

Principal's Letter

Good afternoon, OLG!

What a week we have had, and how awesome it has been to see so many of you around campus! Our community has been overflowing with joy! As a principal, that makes me so proud. Having the opportunity to visit with parents, teachers, grandparents, prospective families and students alike, it has been special to hear what brought families to OLG.

Thank you, Parent Org for all that you did on Teacher/ Staff appreciation day. You truly made our day, over here. Your generosity and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed.

Tomorrow we are wrapping up our week with Pajama Day! Blankets/ Pillows are allowed (but must be able to be fully carried by the student if they’re being brought to school). We are sure to have a great day.

Last week, I asked for you all to share what you love about OLG/ what brought you to OLG. I wanted to share a few of those, and also share some that I have heard this week.

  • OLG teaches our kids to support each other, and cheer each other on. Our kids are kind to one another. - Parent
  • I am grateful for OLG because I feel the staff and teachers have a strong moral compass and integrity. - Parent
  • I see OLG on Facebook, and just think that OLG is a fantastic school. I love the diversity and all the great things you are doing. And to see it all be true in person is just great. My grandchildren love it here!- Grandparent
  • OLG is a place where our kids love to be!- Parent
  • I love OLG because it’s AWESOME and supportive.- Staff
  • Whenever we are in the school, we feel so welcomed! We are grateful for the loving atmosphere that our grandkids are learning in. - Grandparent
  • Open House, wow! The teachers really did a nice job in their classrooms! - Community Member
  • That was the best winter concert! Those kids can really sing and play! Even the littlest kids! How great! - Community Member
  • OLG feels like a home away from home. You can feel it the moment you walk in the door. There’s something special about this place. - Prospective Parent
  • There is joy here, especially this week. OLG is joyful. - Staff

Looking to spread OLG cheer even more? Here are some great things you can partake in this weekend!
