Congratulations 6th Grade Boys Basketball -- made it to the Semi-Finals this year!!
|
|
Dear OLG Families,
Congrats to our 6th Grade Boys (and all our CYO basketball teams) for a wonderful season. It was such a joy to see the teamwork and cooperation at work this basketball season!
Tomorrow, Friday Feb 10th, has no classes across the Archdiocese. Our teachers are taking a variety of Professional Development courses, including several different presentations on diverse learners and designing instruction for the wide variety of students that we serve. We look forward to bringing our shared experiences to bear in the classroom. This is also the time of year we pass our "half way" point (see the 100 Days of School - Kindergarten video). We'll be sending out some simple "mid-trimester" progress reports for K-5 students in the coming days in preparation for Winter Conferences next week.
Next week is full of events, with "State of the School" (mandatory for reregistration) on Wed Feb 15th @ 6:30pm, followed closely by the "Winter Conferences" in the following two days. Winter conferences are not required for all, but by teacher invitation or parent initiation. Teachers have sent-out a signup genius to families they'd like to invite... you can contact your teacher directly if you did not receive a link and are requesting a conference.
For our school planning purposes I hope you can provide input to our school and parish life through our quick 4 minute school survey. We now have over 50% of our school families input, but would love to have everyone's thoughts before the State of the School!
Thank you for your support of OLG and we look forward to sharing more of the survey results, Principal Search process, and more at the State of the School next week!
