Dear Families,

Happy 8th Grade Musical Day! Our 8th graders have been rehearsing for months, and are so excited to present to you all this evening, Frozen, The Musical! What our students are able to put on is truly wonderful, and we hope that you can make it this evening at 7pm to see it and champion all of them. Thank you to our Musical Team, especially to Nikki Womac, who directs the show and to the Wamsley family for the work on lights and sound. To our teachers, especially Ms. Savio and Mr. Santos for your guidance and training, class time and incredible set and audio work, thank you! To the parents who helped with sets, to Nikki's parents Fred and Becky for all of the additional help, and to Mr. Casey and Mrs. Natalie who also helped-- thank you. We hope to see you tonight!

In other AWESOME news, we are so happy to share the exciting new addition to our Guadalupe Family, Miss Gracie Lange, the new baby of Mrs. Lange (Kindergarten) and her husband Dylan! Welcome to the world, Gracie. May God bless you and keep you!

We look forward to seeing you tonight for the musical, and happy Thursday to all of you.

With Gratitude,

Ms. Lauren Hobbs

School Fund Drive

School Fund Drive

Let's Reach 100% Participation!

A huge thank you to our parents who have already contributed to our School Fund Drive! Your generosity has helped us reach halfway to our goal, thanks to the support of our large donors and alumni.

As we move into Spring and the final months of the school year, we are striving for 100% participation from all current families. Every gift—no matter the size—makes a meaningful impact on our students and school community.

In last week’s FCE, you will find a School Fund Drive (SFD) card. Please take a moment to fill it out and return it in the provided envelope. If it’s easier for your family, you can choose to make multiple monthly payments or a one-time gift—whatever works best for you.

During this Lenten season, we invite you to prayerfully consider making a contribution to our School Fund Drive.

Student Incentive: Any class that reaches 100% participation will be rewarded with an ice cream party!

Deadline to participate: May 15, 2025

Prayers

Prayers continue for Fr. Phuong and Fr. Tim as our parish leaders, and for our shared parish family. And for Fr. Kevin and Fr. Jack.

For our community members whose family members who are fighting cancer and other ailments.

For all families, students, children and community members be joyful and full of hope!

For all the victims of the California wildfires, and for the students, faculty, staff and alumni at Corpus Christi Catholic School in Pacific Palisades who lost their school and parish, and have had to find new places to learn and grow.

For all who have recently lost loved ones, and for those who continue to feel the loss of loved ones long-passed. May God grant peace and healing to those who remain, and eternal rest in Heaven for those who have been sent home to the Lord. May perpetual light shine upon them.

Prayers for Pope Francis and his healing.

In gratitude for our OLG community and the love that you share.
