Principal's Letter

Big Happenings/ Announcements:

Today is the first Thursday of Lent, and a time where we begin to prepare for Christ’s greatest sacrifice, death on the cross because He loves us so much. During Lent, we journey with Christ to the cross, spending time in the deserts of our own lives, and focus on ways in which we can transform our lives to grow closer to God. As Catholics globally, we look at doing this through the three pillars of Lent: Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving. In what ways can we give more generously, remove what hinders our relationship with God and one another, and pray more openly in conversation with God? This Lent, I invite you to journey to the cross, in your own ways, seeking ways to live lives that are transformational, and perhaps less transactional. How can we all do things that change the world around us, give of ourselves, our time, our gifts, our talents, to grow closer to one another and strengthen our relationship with God? In Lent, let us be guided by the Holy Spirit to grow and we called to God through our actions and in all that we do.

Though this is the first Thursday in Lent, today we also give thanks-- first, a colossal thanks to Courtney and Heather, our incredible auction chairs, and their team, and our team here, for all the work that went into making the auction another huge success. More to come there! Thank you to all who came and participated online. Did you miss out? Do you want another opportunity for a buy a spot or to partake in the fund-a-need? Some opportunities are still open! See below for one last go! Thank you for being the All Stars that you are!

Lastly, but in no way least, talk about transformational-- THANK YOU to the Turpen family and to their friends at TMB for coming today and removing our beloved giant flagpole, that stood the test of time, and served our school proudly for 62 years. Based on old photos, it seems our flagpole was here, even before the church. Thank you for laying it to rest today, in the honor it deserved, and the safety that we all need here as well! We, as a community, cannot express our gratitude enough! Check out our social media for an awesome time lapse video.

With Gratitude,

Ms. Lauren Hobbs

School Fund Drive

School Fund Drive – Help Us Reach 100% Participation!

A huge thank you to our parents who have already contributed to our School Fund Drive! Your generosity has helped us reach halfway to our goal, thanks to the support of our large donors and alumni.

As we move into Spring and the final months of the school year, we are striving for 100% participation from all current families. Every gift—no matter the size—makes a meaningful impact on our students and school community.

In this week’s FCE, you will find a School Fund Drive (SFD) card. Please take a moment to fill it out and return it in the provided envelope. If it’s easier for your family, you can choose to make multiple monthly payments or a one-time gift—whatever works best for you.

During this Lenten season, we invite you to prayerfully consider making a contribution to our School Fund Drive.

Student Incentive: Any class that reaches 100% participation will be rewarded with an ice cream party!
