2023 Talent Show
Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

It's been a fabulous fun week! From last week's Principal for a Day & our Talent Show, to this week's events of Graduation it's been great to see the gifts, talents, and skills of our students shine for in so many ways!!! Enjoy all the videos of these great students (and a few staff)! And in between these events we also had the Largest OLG Loop the 'Lupe turnout ever! Thank you to all those who participated and helped ... and congratulations to the 2nd grade class for the most students participating!

Tomorrow we end our final full week of school with special student council elections, plus jump-up-day for students to get to know their next year's teachers, and ending with our final Snack-Shack Blowout Sale to help support our Musical and Arts programs.

Sunday is Fr. Kevin's 25th Ordination Anniversary (June 11th@11am) and we hope to see many of us all there. Read on for many other news of events and fun you can take to help grow our community and keep OLG Guadalupe Strong!

This is the final full newsletter of the school year as our last day of school is next week; Wednesday, June 14th (dismissal after Mass ~10:30am)! I will write to you again before I go in special summer bulletin/wrap-up of the school year, and I hope to also be able to share news and updates of our Principal Search Committee's work as well. It is with great confidence that I know we are all in good hands. I thank you all for the amazing gift you've given to me, especially the gift I received this week for retreat time at Mt. Rainer (swing by the office to see Mr. Casey's art as well). Really though the most meaningful is the gift of years together you have brought of your time and energy here at Guadalupe. I have felt so amazingly blessed to be your Principal these past 6 years and I share my heartfelt gratitude for all the impressions you and your children have left with me over these years. OLG is truly a special place! I know with all your energy, it will continue to be for years to come!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

Summer Math and Reading
Parents: We highly encourage students to maintain the skills they have learned this year. Your student may need help scheduling time to work on a take-home packet, practice skills on-line and fulfill reading requirements. Please check for communication from homeroom teachers...more reading/math opportunities

Reminder: Summer is a great time to catch up doctor appointments and vaccines (WA DOH) ... Measles is highly contagious and in King County now . Check for MMR vaccine!

Join the OLG West Seattle Grand Parade float!
Who let the dogs out!? OLG will be participating in this year's West Seattle Grand Parade on July 22 and we need your help! Do you have a utility trailer (aka parade float) that you'd be willing to let us borrow? Do you have a bulldog mascot in the back of your closet (or know someone who does)? How about a bag of candy and good walking shoes? We want to fill the street with our amazing students, families and friends as we toss candy and walk the parade route! Check out our sign up sheet and join us as a walker, decorator, or (maybe) mascot wearer. It's going to be a fun event and a great way to spend an afternoon with school friends during the summer! Great way to get a jump on volunteer hours for 23-24SY!!!
