Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

Our school newsletter is full and complete this week, our first week of classes! Note you'll receive this in your email every Thursday and it is also posted as a permanent "button" on our School Webpage. As you can see from the pictures above, school is in session and classes are rolling! Don't forget to read through the whole newsletter weekly, not just in your abbreviated email preview pane.

Thank you to Fr. Kevin and all our leadership team for our first day School Mass (follow link to see the recorded livestream). This special church service centered our school on the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives and introduced our theme of this school year: Breath of Life – Building God's Kingdom Together!

As we breathe together on these warm September days, we remind ourselves that only in our presence together does our community grow in strength, in the beauty of caring for each other, and learning and growing together. This month is a busy one as we get things rolling together. Read on below for details of our upcoming calendar of events, including...
Welcome back to Campus... at Mass, at School, in sports, and in friendship together... Breathe Life OLG!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

Parent Org (PO)
Parent Org is in need of
your support and talent!

Contact Janet McClelland to volunteer for these Parent Org positions!

What is the PO?
P.O. stands for Parent Organization! Simply being an OLG family makes you part of the Parent Organization (PO)! Officially, we are a group of committed parents who love to be involved with our children’s school and enjoy working together for the greater good of our school and education of the students.

Save the Date: Parent Org meeting Tues, Sept 13th 6:30 pm (meeting in the 4th grade classroom). Everyone is welcome!
Jog-A-Thon
Kick off the year with the PO's first major fundraiser Jog-A-Thon is on Friday, September 30th!

The theme for this year is "Good Vibes", which can be taken as a tie-dye/hippie theme or a sentiment for our Seattle Mariners, who we hope are still working on something special for the postseason in late-September.

During the month of September, each student is asked to collect donations for the school. All kids will run on Friday, September 30th at the Walt Hundley field. More information on how to fundraise and how to get your kids ready will follow. Also keep watch for a sign up - this is a great first big volunteer event of the year!
Registration still open for a Limited Time
Practice starts next week for most grades!

  • K-8 Soccer season starts September 10th. Check with your grade's soccer coach for practice schedules (Sam Prociv can help locate your class coach) Registration closes Sept 2nd.
  • K-8 Cross Country's first meet is September 18th. Practices are at Lincoln Park (Parents can run too!) Tuesday/Thursday @ 5:30pm. Registration closes Sept 10th.
