Our Lady of Guadalupe School fosters Gospel values, inspires academic excellence, and develops service and leadership. We face this as a sacramental community united and

Dear OLG Families,
We are breathing deeply this week as the smoke clears and we move through our third week of school! Half our classes have now attended a "daily mass" as well as our first-day-all-school "Mass of the Holy Spirit". This weekend You're all invited to our parish's first "Family Faith-Open House". Look closely at this Kindergarten pictureto see the church complete with the congregation and Fr. Kevin (in liturgical appropriate green)! Below is much more news of school and parish life:

Time to create your student's Jog-A-Thon fundraising page! Jog-A-Thon donations are all online this year. The volunteer link is live as well
As we Breathe Life into our school year together, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU on behalf of all the staff for the engaged, active, wonderful families we have here at OLG. You participation and interest in all things aspects of the Guadalupe community (from soccer coaching... to recess ... to Sunday School... to Auction... to Thriftway Reciepts... to Loop-the-Lupe'... to Mass.. to...) is the reason OLG exists and thrives. I'm excited for our year ahead together!

New year, new roles....Breath of Life
A weekly introduction of OLG staff and the fresh life each is bringing this year!
As many of you know, Janet McClelland, our ELC Director, is adding a new role as Vice Principal of Student Life this school year. In line with accreditation goals, Mrs. McClelland will be working closely with Principal Kramer as part of our administrative team to support students and families. As the "Veep", it is a goal that Mrs. McClelland will also be working closely with Parent Org. to strengthen the volunteer leadership that makes our school great... and affordable to all! Contact Janet if you'd like to help her, and all our fellow families out, with Parent Org fun for the year!.

For those new to OLG, the Jog-A-Thon is a fun way for the kids to get moving and also help raise money for the school at the same time! On Friday Sept 30th every student will participate with their class in either walking or running laps at the Walt Hundley playfield.
Our theme this year is "Good Vibes and High Fives". Read More
The Jog-A-Thon is the second biggest Fundraiser of the Parent Organization. The goal is to raise $25,000. We're getting excited, so let’s turn our energy into dollars. This year donations will be made completely online through each student’s own personal fundraising page. There are no pledge forms to fill out or checks to write… Yay!!
Reminder: Noon Dismissal – Pick up at 12:00 pm. Kids should be ready for some down time today! EDC (Extended Day Care) for K-8 is open until 6pm, but you must sign up ahead! NO Preschool/Pre-K after care.
