LITURGY
FEAST OF ALL SAINTS

The Feast of All Saints is next Tuesday, November 1st. It is a holy day of obligation and masses will be celebrated at 9:00 am with our “little saints” from the 3rd grade class at our school, and at 7:00 pm.
REMEMBERING THOSE WHO HAVE DIED

During the month of November, beginning with the Feast of All Souls, we remember all those who have died, including parishioners from this past year. We invite you to bring a picture of your loved one and place it on the Memorial Table near our All Souls Banners. You can also write their names in our special Book of Prayer. We will keep all of them in our prayers. Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them. Amen.
ADORATION AND PRAYER
Parishioners are invited to come to the church and pray in our new Blessed Sacrament Chapel during the week. Just come by the Parish Office to get a key or call the Office and we can arrange to meet you there and let you in. We wish we could keep the church unlocked but we can’t due to security.
FAMILY FAITH FORMATION
The seed that stays: The parable of the sower and the seeds. (Matthew 13:3-23). The seed that falls on fertile soil stays and grows and produces fruit. As parents and guardians, it is our role to tend to the soil for the seeds of faith to grow in our children. We do this by our example, our guidance, and our sharing our faith. Our Family Faith Formation programs are here to help.

Children’s Faith Formation and Sacrament Prep Sunday small groups are underway. New children are always welcome. Contact Molly Berger [email protected]

Family Faith Sunday: Sunday November 6 from 9:30-10:45. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your faith as a family. The November theme is Standing with Us: Saints and saints. We know of many canonized Saints. What qualities  do we see in those Saints and their stories? Where do we see saints every day who also have those qualities? Even though some of us are “saints with tipped halos,” how do we grow in those qualities ourselves and in our families?

We are excited to bring back the Family Center in the vestibule of the church. You will find Mass bags for young children with activities for Mass. Children’s books, articles for parents, Reflecting on the Word as a Family handouts, a place for children to share their “Pew Art” and more! Be sure to check it out!

Reflecting on the Word as a Family! Taking time to reflect on the Sunday readings as a family is a way to bring the Liturgy into our daily lives. Click on the Child and Family Faith Formation Link under Faith Formation on our website to find the weekly guide sharing.

Our Family Faith Programs are designed to evolve and grow with the needs of our families. Please email Molly Berger with ideas or suggestions. [email protected]
IMPORTANT NEWS
UPDATE ON COVID PRECAUTIONS IN THE CHURCH

As we move from COVID being a pandemic to endemic, we, in consultation with the Archdiocese, continue to update our COVID protocols. We are returning to keeping the church doors closed. The church’s ventilation and heating system is supplied by two 36 inch turban fans that allow for a change of air approximately every 8 minutes! This allows the exchange of air to be approximately 60% return air and 40% fresh air. We are very fortunate to be able to control the air in this way. We will keep the fresh air at 40% for the foreseeable future. (Note: All of the air goes through a MERV 13 filtration.) In addition, we will continue to keep one section of the church reserved that requires people to wear masks. Thank you for everyone’s cooperation.
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT respond to an email that looks like it is from Fr. Kevin asking if you are available today. It is a scam, phishing for you to send gift cards. DO NOT respond and DO NOT send gift cards!
REMEMBER TO VOTE… BE A FAITHFUL CITIZEN
"We need to participate for the common good. Sometimes we hear: a good Catholic is not interested in politics. This is not true: good Catholics immerse themselves in politics by offering the best of themselves so that the leader can govern." (Pope Francis) Visit our website to explore how you can love your neighbors by advocating as a faithful citizen on behalf of those who are poor and vulnerable.
