Hello OLG Families,

What a week this has been! First of all, a HUGE "Thank You!" to our fantastic volunteers helping reset our classes for teachers to have a clean & organized tableau to begin their classroom prep:: Michelle, Mirabel, Ariam, Alexandra & Rebecca, Shafer, Jeffrey, Tessa & Finley Habtom & Yobel, Carol, Porsche, Heidi, Lori & Lilia, Geoff & Sophia, Mia & Nala, and Corina... What a tremendous gift of time and talent you've shared!!! Thank you!

Also this week was many updates and news from our Department of Health, Archdiocese, and State leadership around school beginning in the next few weeks. While many of these come as no surprise and aren't much different than our successful operations fully in-person this last Spring, we have updated our COVID Response/Re-opening plans on our web site (this post is also available on the front of our school webpage). Verification of COVID Vaccine (New)
We strongly encourage all eligible community members to become vaccinated against COVID-19. We are verifying vaccination status of students (12+), staff, and other adults in the school building. Show your vaccination card or other proof outside the school office. Vaccination status affects our response to any health event. More

Certificate of Immunizations (CIS) - all grades
Immunization records must be up-to-date by the first day of school Sept. 1st. The Washington Immunization System makes it easy to auto-fill information on the Certificate of Immunizations (CIS). (WA DOH)

Health Form
If you have not submitted a health form in 2021, or if you have updates from last year, please turn in on August 25th. Don't forget to sign and date.

ELC Family Orientation* 6:00-7:00 pm
If your family is new to Preschool/Pre-K, new parent attendance to Early Learning Center (ELC) Orientation is mandatory*. If you cannot attend, email Janet McClelland.

Vaccination Clinic at Loop the ‘Lupe

Bird’s Eye Medical will be offering both the Pfizer and Moderna shots for free by appointment and for walk-ups between 11:30am and 3pm on Sunday, August 29 at Walt Hundley Field. You can schedule your appointment now at https://olgseattle.org/events/covid-vaccine-clinic

Thanks to all the great support for the Italian Dinner and Annual Golf Tournament in 2020, sports registration fees have been reduced this year! Way to go OLG!!! We love our fans and grateful for your continued support.
