A Message from Our Head of School

Dear Parents,

This has been another exciting week at Our Lady of Grace School! We welcomed back faculty and staff this week for workshop week. I love this time of the year! The school starts to come back to life as everyone plans and prepares for the return of 1st - 8th grade students on Monday, August 29 and Preschool & Kindergarten students on Tuesday, August 30. I can't wait to have all the students back for school!

Next week will be another exciting week as we continue with our workshops and welcome new families to OLG on Tuesday, August 23 at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, August 24, we look forward to seeing all families and students for back-to-school night. This will be an open house style event from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM designed so families and students may meet their teachers and drop off school supplies. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Enjoy these last few days of summer! There is still some time to get in some vacation and family time before school starts.

A Message from Our Principals

The teachers returned to school this past Monday! As teachers filtered in it sounded like a large family reunion. There were hugs, laughter, quiet conversations and loud proclamations. Father Finnegan led us in prayer and we focused our hearts and minds on the good work ahead of us! The week was filled with training, moving, unpacking, prayer, planning, and getting to know one another. We can’t wait to welcome our students and families next week!

Eden Ave. Road Construction 

If you have been on campus over the last week, you'll see that Eden Ave. road construction is still in full swing!

Through Friday, August 26, Our Lady of Grace is only accessible via our W Frontage Road / Normandale Road entrances. Eden Avenue is currently closed from the railroad bridge to the East side of Highway 100. 

To access Our Lady of Grace for Orientation: 

• Navigate to the Benton Avenue exit and drive North onto W Frontage Road / Normandale Road
• Enter and exit our campus via one of our three SE driveways: our back alley, in front of our new building, or near our Athletic Fields

Thank you for your flexibility and patience during the many changes of construction season, and know that you and your family's safety is our number one priority!

Carpool & EP Bus Service

We are finalizing carpool drop-off/pick-up routes and information for the first days of school through September will be shared next week.

We are also in the final phases of planning our '22-'23 EP bus! We will communicate route and pricing early next week. Please note: Preschool students are eligible to ride on our bus. 

2022-2023 School Supplies

Our Lady of Grace School's online store is up and running! Be sure to check out the Ship-to-Home program this year, so you can order at anytime and have it shipped directly to your home or business. The kits will be available throughout the summer – even after school starts! Head over to School Tool Box to place your order!

2022-2023 Extended Care for K - 8th Grade

It is that time again! We are accepting enrollment in the Our Lady of Grace Extended Care Program for the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking forward to having your children join us. 

Our program is designed to provide a relaxed, trusting, and fun environment conducive to learning and growing for kindergarten through 8th grade students. A structured recreational atmosphere with a variety of activities encourages students to pursue their own interests, develop friendships and grow in confidence and independence as well as respect for themselves and others.

Used Uniform Sale

Wednesday, August 24, 3:00 - 7:00 PM

Stop by Cassidy Hall to check out the Used Uniform Sale during Back to School Night! Prices range from $3 - $5 for all uniform pieces, with the exception of blazers which cost $15. New Families can shop Tuesday night from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

Adult & Student volunteers are needed to help setup and run the sale. Student volunteers will earn religion service hours. Setup is Tuesday afternoon 2:00 - 4:00. Sign up here!

Volunteer to Be a Mass Greeter!

Wednesday, September 7, 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Are you looking for ways for you, your student or your family to get involved at OLG? If you're friendly and welcoming, then the OLG Greeter Ministry might be for you!

Greeters are the front line of our Church’s hospitality ministry and play a very important role at OLG. Greeting is a fun way for families and students to serve the Parish! Plus, Middle Schoolers can earn service hours through greeting!

Called to Motherhood Small Groups

Mondays Evenings or Thursday Mornings, September to May

Do you desire strong friendships with other moms just like you? Do you sometimes wonder about who you are as a woman, wife, and mother? Grow closer to God while meeting with other moms who want the same things as you – to raise great kids and have a strong and fulfilling marriage. Join Created to Believe: Called to Motherhood: A Catholic Small Group for Mothers of Young Children.
