HEALTHY PLANET, HEALTHY PEOPLE PETITION

We have an opportunity like no other. At the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP15) in October, world leaders can set meaningful targets to protect creation. In November, at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), countries will announce their plans to meet the goals of the Paris agreement. Ahead of those meetings, it is our responsibility as Catholics to lift the voices of the most vulnerable and advocate on their behalf. We must act now. Join our parish and Archdiocese by signing the PETITION.
HAITI RECOVERY: THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!

Thank you to all who were able to contribute to our Haiti recovery collection following the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck there on August 14th. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to collect over $1500! The money will be sent to Catholic Relief Services (CRS), the official overseas relief and development agency of the U.S. Catholic Church. CRS has worked in Haiti since 1954 and was able to start distributing tarps, hygiene kits, and kitchen sets within 48 hours of the quake. They will continue to help affected families meet their immediate and long-term recovery needs. If you would like to contribute to the relief and development efforts, you can still donate at crs.org/supporthaiti

BRING CHRISTMAS TO A SEAFARER!

Every year, the Seattle Seafarers’ Center provides about 1,000 ditty bags stuffed with basic personal necessities to merchant seafarers. These bags are one way we help seafarers celebrate Christmas while they are far from home during the holiday season. Seafarers help make Christmas possible by transporting lots of stuff to the US. Help make a seafarer's Christmas by providing them with a ditty bag to say thank you! READ MORE...
