ARCHBISHOP ETIENNE INVITES YOU TO COME BACK TO MASS!
The general obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation (including the Saturday/vigil Mass) is to be reinstated during Advent on December 8, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Read Archbishop’s letter and watch his VIDEO MESSAGE.
“Make the Lord’s Day a true celebration of the Resurrection, and a great celebration of being renewed in his life, mercy, and love."

REVISIONS TO SEATING IN THE CHURCH As more people are getting vaccinated and coming back to mass, we have made changes to the seating in the church. We will continue to reserve the last two rows of pews in each section for those who want social distancing, but the rest of the pews will be open seating. NOTE: Seating will continue to be prohibited near the choir for safety reasons, and masks will continue to be always required. Thank you to our parishioners for taking the steps to keep everyone safe at mass! Please read our STAY SAFE REMINDER!

STEWARDSHIP
ANNUAL STEWARDSHIP OF TREASURE
APPEAL HAS BEGUN

Stewardship is recognizing that everything we have is a gift from God and we’re called to share these gifts with others out of gratitude. This is the essence of Stewardship – whether of time, talent, or of treasure. God’s gifts are meant to be received gratefully, cultivated wisely, shared lovingly, and returned to God with increase.

Traditionally this is the time of year when we are asked to prayerfully reflect upon our financial commitment to support the life and mission of Our Lady of Guadalupe parish.

As you pledge and share your treasure, you have the option of returning the Stewardship of Treasure Commitment Card by mail, collection basket, or by pledging online at: https://olgseattle.org/stewardship-pledge. If you are unable to give, please pledge to pray for the success of our campaign. Just write “PRAYER” on your pledge card and turn it in.

We are seeking 100% participation. Return your commitment card today!
WE NEED YOU
ALTAR LINEN MINISTRY

Volunteers are needed to assist with laundering the linens we use for masses. You sign up to clean the laundry twice for a month or two during the year, and it is done in your own home on your own schedule. This is a great way to also earn school volunteer hours. Contact Helen, 206-935-0358

SYNOD ’21-’23: WHAT IS A SYNOD?

Pope Francis writes “Synodality" is the way of being the Church today according to the will of God, in a dynamic of discerning and listening together to the "voice of the Holy Spirit". This journey, which follows in the wake of the Church’s “renewal” proposed by the Second Vatican Council, is both a gift and a task: by journeying together and reflecting together on the journey that has been made, the Church will be able to learn through Her experience which processes can help her to live communion, to achieve participation, to open herself to a mission so as to be the Church that God wants us to be. All of us are asked to actively participate in this process which will culminate in a meeting of all the bishops from around the world in the spring of 2023. There will be opportunities in the coming months for you to participate. More to come…
SAFE PARKING UPDATE

Our Safe Parking lot now has three guests for the first time! We are grateful to all those in our community who are supporting this effort by keeping the Hut clean and to our St. Vincent de Paul for providing food for our guests. Through your support we are able to offer a safe and hospitable place for people to get back on their feet.
WE WELCOME YOU TO OLG!
