HOLY WEEK

As the situation with Covid-19 continues to unfold, it has become clear that we will not be able to gather to celebrate Holy Week in our churches. However, we WILL celebrate Holy Week in a modified way. Further i nformation to be provided next week.
LENTEN COMMUNAL RECONCILIATION CELEBRATION IS BACK ON—
ALBEIT REMOTELY!
Wednesday, April 1 st at 7:00 pm.

J oin us through Facebook or find the link on our parish website. Note: Fr. Kevin is no long able to hear individual confessions at this time.

Remember, God’s forgiveness is the SAME in all situations —whether you are celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation, participating in the Penitential Rite at mass, or making a personal confession in prayer! How we celebrate God’s forgiveness depends on our awareness and need of God’s mercy, and this Sacrament is a powerful way to experience that mercy in the context of Scripture, examination of conscience, confession and sacramental absolution. And, if needed, you are encouraged to celebrate individual confession when it becomes available again.
CRS RICE BOWL
As the coronavirus spreads around the world, many of the countries where CRS serves will struggle. Infrastructures, resources, and conditions are already stretched thin. Our Rice Bowl Supper and first Fish Fry were cancelled due to the coronavirus locally. Please consider contributing more to your Rice Bowl this year to make up the difference and to address the growing need. Visit crsricebowl.org for more information and to donate online.
F rom Pope Francis
This Friday, March 27 Pope Francis will give an extraordinary blessing “urbi et orbi” (to the city and the world) at 10 a.m. local time. This is a special blessing we want everyone to know about. Please share this with your parishioners. Read more about it  here .

Additionally, Pope Francis encourages everyone to pray the Lord’s Prayer at noon on Wednesday, March 25 saying, “Let's stay united. Let us make those who are alone and tested feel our closeness.”
Pope Francis also issued a decree granting indulgences for people with COVID-19, for those who care for them, including medical staff and family members, and for those who pray for them. Read the decree from Pope Francis  here .
