Our Annual PTA Fun Walk Fundraiser has entered its second week, and we have already raised over $6,000! Thank you to all who have contributed so far! We are trying to surpass last year's total of over $25,000, so please keep collecting pledges from family and friends! We have a lot of great prizes, and 1B was the first weekly class winner for a Spirit Wear Day! Return your envelopes in the backpacks, or click here to donate via Zeffy. Our PTA Wine and Cheese Social is on Saturday, October 24th in the gym following 5:00 Mass. The PTA Board wants to hear from YOU! Bring your ideas, questions, and concerns, and find out how you can get involved! Babysitting will be provided in the cafeteria by 7th and 8th grade volunteers.
We have had a couple people step up to chair our PTA Casino Night (thank you!), but we are asking for a few more volunteers to join the committee. Many hands make light work, and it's a great way to meet people and get involved. Please contact the PTA Board if you are interested at pta@olgc.me. The event will take place on Friday, February 26th at Rivers Casino in Philadelphia.
The next Spirit Wear Day is Thursday, October 15th. Any spirit wear tops may be worn with gym uniform bottoms, or the full gym uniform may be worn. Regular uniforms are also allowed. Spirit wear items that were ordered last month will be available to pick up prior to this day- more information coming soon!
