Our 6th Annual PTA Golf Scramble was a very fun day and a huge success! We raised over $20,000 for our school! A huge thank you to our Chairwoman Haneen Boivert for all of her hard work, as well as volunteers Felicia Legato, Melissa George, Devon McCarty, Robyn Pomrink, and Scott Siravo, and another beautiful hand painted banner by Stephanie Rush. We also couldn't have the success we did without our generous sponsors- please see our social media for their contributions!
It's that time of year again... Fun Walk season is upon us! Yesterday, students went home with all the information in their backpacks. Our Fun Walk raises money specifically for technology, campus beautification, and more for our school! Last year we raised over $25,000 and purchased items like Chromebooks, 3D printers, Promethean Boards, subscriptions for learning tools for our teachers, updating microscopes in the science lab, and more! You can send cash or check made out to "OLGC PTA" in the envelopes provided or click here to donate online via Zeffy.
The PTA is sponsoring a Wine and Cheese Social on Saturday, October 24th. Join us for 5:00 Mass and then for the complementary Social afterwards in the school gym. Babysitting will be provided by 7th and 8th grade volunteers in the cafeteria. We want to hear from YOU! Bring your ideas, questions, and concerns to discuss with the PTA Board, and also find out how you can get involved!
Save the Date! The PTA Casino Night will be held on Friday, February 26th at Rivers Casino in Philadelphia from 6pm-10pm. This event was a resounding success last year and the general feedback was that it was the best one yet! We are currently looking for a few volunteers to chair this event; a lot of the legwork has already been done securing the all-inclusive venue, but we still need help running this event. Traditionally this event has been organized by dads (including Fr. Jim many years ago!), but we are happy to accept any and all help. Please contact the PTA Board if you are interested at pta@olgc.me.
It's never too early to start thinking about how you will be celebrating the holidays! This year the PTA has partnered with Indian Acres Tree Farm in Medford. Purchase tickets to their Winter Wonderland Illuminated Walking Trail and 20% of all ticket sales will be donated back to the OLGC PTA. More details below.
