WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL! The OLGC PTA welcomes back all our school families, faculty and staff! We are looking forward to a fun year ahead!
THANK YOU to Dana Pearce, Melissa George, and Victoria Brogan for organizing and running our first Uniform Exchange of the school year! It was a busy night last Wednesday as families stopped by to stock up for the school year. Our next Uniform Exchange will take place on Wednesday, September 24th.

The PTA Exec Board needs your help! The Exec Board is working hard behind the scenes to plan the best events for our school community. These events help support our students and school but aren’t possible without the help of parent volunteers. We are currently looking for co-chairs for our annual Casino Night & Fashion Show. In addition, all of our upcoming events for the school year are looking for members to help behind the scenes to make these events and fundraisers happen for our school community. If you would like more information on any of our PTA sponsored events and what they entail, please reach out directly to our PTA President, Michele Brown at mbrown8902@gmail.com. Signups will be available during our General PTA Meeting later this month. We always welcome NEW and current parents and would love to see everyone involved in our PTA!
Calling all ROOM PARENTS! If you are interested in becoming a room parent for the upcoming school year, please email our school principal, Cynthia Smith. The Room Parent meeting will take place at 6:30pm before our General PTA Meeting on Thursday, September 18th. Please keep in mind that all Room Parents must be Virtus trained.
As we begin a new school year please note, all volunteers for any PTA event (with children present) must be Virtus trained and fingerprinted. Please contact Danielle Meosky in the rectory at dmeosky@olgcnj.org for information. The training is very simple and quick, so please consider helping the OLGC community in the upcoming school year! Also, we are always looking for volunteers who can help in any way with setup, tear-down, or preparations, which can easily be done at home! There are so many opportunities! There is truly something for everyone to be involved in!
We are looking forward to another great school year filled with many events for our OLGC school community. Going forward, our weekly update will be sent out every Tuesday afternoon.
