Weekly OLL News: November 27, 2019
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our OLL families!

This Thanksgiving, we are grateful for each of our wonderful Laker families. Thank you for entrusting us with the gift of educating your children.

Enjoy these pictures of our Thanksgiving School Mass today with Fr. Tim, our students engaged in service activities with their school families, and our incredible food drive for St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. We closed the morning with an all-school assembly to share our service activities from each school family and a prayer of gratitude for all we have to be thankful for.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving break!

Annual OLL Food Drive - Surpassed our Goal
Thank you for your support of 4,123 items - OLL Rocks!
Our annual food drive once again exceeded our goal - big time! Our winning class was the 8th graders with 1,086 items. This class once again showed tremendous 8th grade leadership. We are truly blessed to have such a caring and giving community throughout each grade.

This drive provides the food items for St. Vincent de Paul so that individuals and families are able to count on our food pantry for their next meal. Your amazing generosity is never taken for granted. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

90/70 Anniversary Thank you!
As our 90th Anniversary as a parish and 70th Anniversary as a parish school comes to a close, it is fitting that a "Thank You" is said. We began with the Alumni Junior Olympics in May, joined together as a community of faith at the Mass of the Holy Spirit in September with our beloved Tacoma Dominicans and Bishop Mueggenborg, and ended enjoying an evening of dining and dancing in our beautiful Event Center. To all of you who joined in any of our celebrations, "Thank You". To Patty Corum, Katie Davis Denniston, Dana Steele Korch, Beth Isenhath and Deven McCoy thank you for being the consummate party planners. We are blessed to be able to join with each other in celebrating this Anniversary year under the spiritual guidance of Father Tim Clark and the staff of Our Lady of the Lake Parish and School. Pictures are on their way! If you did not pick up an anniversary booklet, there are some in the school office. One booklet per family please.
