COVID-19, the View through an Age-Focused Lens
How do age and underlying conditions affect vaccine effectiveness, disease severity and outcomes of COVID? Kirsten Schutte, MD, an infectious disease specialist and Asante’s Medical Director of Infection Prevention will address these considerations in a free, public lecture on Wednesday, October 20, 7:00 – 8:00 PM Pacific Time. Friends of the Hannon Library Invitation

The Friends of the Hannon Library invite all OLLI members to the first event of their annual speaker series on Thursday, October 14 at 7:00 PM Pacific Time. These events are free and open to the public. Cathy Camper is the author of the award-winning Lowriders in Space graphic novel series, Ten Ways to Hear Snow, Bugs Before Time, and the forthcoming Lowriders to the Rescue and Arab Arab All Year Round (2022). She also writes zines, iand is a founding member of the Portland Women of Color zine collective. An Arab American and a graduate of VONA/Voices writing, Cathy is a librarian and lives in Portland, Oregon.
