Free Concert at Chillicothe Library

Nighthawk: "Earth and Sky"
Thursday, December 28
6:30 p.m.
Chillicothe Public Library, 430 N Bradley Ave, Chillicothe

Nighthawk brings together violin and cello in a wide-ranging concert titled "Earth and Sky."

Back from her home in Providence, Rhode Island, rural Chillicothe native Emmy Holmes-Hicks (violin) joins Chicago cellist David Sands in the musical duo Nighthawk.  The two performers will take you on a musical tour that includes a few sizzling tangos, a Beethoven duo, a little Yuletide cheer, and some stunning Celtic arrangements.  They might even pull out a couple of old-time fiddle tunes.
