Continuing Education Holiday Hours
As the holiday season approaches, please note that the Continuing Education office will be closed from
Friday, December 22, 2017 - Monday, January 1, 2018. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, January 2.
However, our online registration site will remain open during that time. Please feel free to register for winter classes, learning trips, and study groups over the holidays, and we will contact you with details in the new year.

Enjoy a docent-led tour of the current exhibit
Emergence: The National Arts of Central Illinois at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. This exhibit features 57 local artists with national reputations -- from Bloomington/Normal to Galesburg. John Morris, President and CEO of the museum, has said that, when he personally guides civic leaders through the exhibit, the typical reaction is, "Wow! I had no idea that there was such amazing art being created in central Illinois." Come with us to experience the "wow!" for yourself.
$35 - includes admission fees, tour, lunch, gratuities, and shuttle transportation

Free Concert at Chillicothe Library
Nighthawk: "Earth and Sky"

Nighthawk brings together violin and cello in a wide-ranging concert titled "Earth and Sky."
Back from her home in Providence, Rhode Island, rural Chillicothe native Emmy Holmes-Hicks (violin) joins Chicago cellist David Sands in the musical duo
Nighthawk. The two performers will take you on a musical tour that includes a few sizzling tangos, a Beethoven duo, a little Yuletide cheer, and some stunning Celtic arrangements. They might even pull out a couple of old-time fiddle tunes.
