It's Not Too Late to Register for Fall Classes!
OLLI classes will be held on
Wednesdays, October 4, 11, 18, and 25! OLLI classes offer a great way to go "back to school" and learn about the topics that interest you most from experts in those fields-- without any homework, tests, or tardy slips!
For $95, you can take four classes of your choice, enjoy door-to-door shuttle service and plenty of snacks throughout the day, and join in the camaraderie that is truly unique to OLLI classes.
Our instructors this fall include experts in a wide variety of fields. For example, you can learn about medical imaging machines from John Engdahl, the Donald V. Fites chair and professor, Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology at Bradley University, in Class #16:
Looking Inside Our Body with Medical Imaging Machines
(10:30 - 11:30 a.m. block)
Medical imaging has grown from a simple x-ray to an array of diagnostic tools using diverse signals and technology. This class will explain how these technologies can "see" inside the human body, how they differentiate tissues and physiology, and their overall diagnostic benefits and risk.
