Don't Miss This Intriguing Spring Class

Do you have a nagging sports injury?  Do you have children or grandchildren who play sports and are concerned about injuries?

Steve Tippet, PT, PhD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Science at Bradley University with 34 years of practice as a Sports Clinical Specialist Consultant to the Bradley Sports Medicine staff, has volunteered to teach a course on " The Fan's Guide to Sports Injuries" (class #13).

This class, scheduled during the  10:30 a.m. period, will focus on common sports injuries sustained across the lifespan.  Pertinent anatomy, mechanism of injury, and treatment (surgical and non-surgical) will be discussed in easy to understand terms.

Be sure to register today to enjoy Dr. Tippet's intriguing class - please call the Continuing Education office at 677-3900 to sign up.

Seeking Legacy Speech Volunteers

Laura Bruns, a lecturer in the Department of Communication at Bradley, is seeking OLLI volunteers to serve as subjects for her students' "Legacy Speeches" next semester.

You will be paired with a student who will interview you and write a speech in your honor for their class assignment. This volunteer opportunity would only require that you let the student interview you in person or by phone during the month of February 2017. You will be invited to watch the classroom speech and will be given a copy of the speech to keep!
