A Unique Opportunity to Tour the Sanfilippo Estate
Don't miss the opportunity to tour the Sanfilippo Estate, a private residence not open to the general public except through pre-arranged group tours. We'll see the finest-and most historically significant-Mechanical Music Collection in the world. Hidden away on 57 acres, the original Sanfilippo family residence was a 6,000 square foot Tudor-style home built in 1974, that has been transformed into a 44,0000 square foot private museum.
A short preview of what we'll see includes the American Ochrestration Room with some of the most beautiful art glass-front orchestrations ever made; The Victorian Bar Room, a recreation ofa turn-of-the-century casino; and the the Music Theater with a mini-concert on the world's largest theater pipe organ a 1927 Wurlitzer with over 8,000 pipes! And then on to the Carousel Pavilion, to view the featured jewel in the building, the Eden Palais Carousel, the most complete example of a European salon carousel in existence, built in 1890.
