OLLI Summer 2024 Term

Registration Opens on Wednesday, May 22nd at 10:00 AM!

The wait is almost over! Summer 2024 registration opens on Wednesday, May 22nd at 10:00 AM!

Summer 2024 OLLI Classes are scheduled to take place starting Monday, June 10th and continuing through Thursday, July 25th.

Sierra College is closed on Fridays over the summer.

OLLI's Summer Author Spotlight Lunch Pail Series are the only exception, as they are on select Fridays at 12pm (Noon) Online via Zoom. See below for more information.

Once registration opens, OLLI Summer courses and activities will be listed by subject area, on our registration website at: www.sierraolli.org

OLLI's Author Spotlight Lunch Pail Series

Online Zoom | Select Fridays from 12pm-1pm | $5

Series Description — Our region is home to a variety of terrific authors who write a wide assortment of books. This monthly series of interviews will introduce us to some of these interesting, local writers and their books. Author interviews will be moderated by author, OLLI Instructor and Advisory Council Member, Joan Griffin. Current OLLI at Sierra College Membership is Required to Participate.

An Added Benefit — Your class fee is a donation to the Sierra College Food Pantry. One hundred percent of the registration proceeds made from the Author Spotlight Lunch Pail Series will be donated to the Sierra College Food Pantry. Thank you for joining our cause to help end student food insecurity on our campuses and in our community.

Summer 2024 Line-Up is Now Online!

Summer Line-Up — Includes Historical Fiction authors, Frank Nissen and Nancy Lee Woody. Both Frank and Nancy have written novels that take place in our local areas of Sacramento and Auburn, California.

OLLI at Sierra College Membership 2023-2024

Join or Renew this Summer for $10!

Current OLLI Members do not need to renew at this time. Memberships expire on July 31, 2024. Membership Renewals for the 2024-2025 Membership Year will be available for purchase August 1st.

New to OLLI at Sierra College? You're in luck! OLLI Membership is only $10/person for the Summer session!

In order to register for a Club OLLI class, an OLLI Field Trip or join any of the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) you must be a Club OLLI member. The membership fee is required whether you are signing up for a one-time lecture, multiple courses, a special interest group or an OLLI Field Trip.

If you are not a current Club OLLI Member, then a Membership must be purchased before registering for individual classes or you must have a Membership in your shopping cart (before you can see the Add to Cart button).

OLLI Membership Name Badges

Wear to In-Person Classes, OLLI Events, and Field Trips!

We have started distributing OLLI Membership Name Badges to our current OLLI Members! We encourage you to wear your OLLI Membership Name Badge when attending In-Person OLLI classes, OLLI Events, and OLLI Field Trips.

To cut down on shipping costs, we have been giving these new membership name badges to OLLI Members attending in-person OLLI classes and field trips. You may stop by the OLLI office to pick up your badge or the Admissions and Records office at the Grass Valley campus for Nevada County members.
