ADDITIONAL CLASS ADDED FOR "1969: THE YEAR EVERYTHING CHANGED?"

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the "1969: The Year Everything Changed?" being facilitated by Pat Paul, she has agreed to teach a second offering this term on Tuesday AM. We are still switching some of the demand from the Tuesday PM class to the Tuesday AM class but will open any additional seats for registration on Monday evening at 7:00 pm.
INTERESTING CLASSES TO CONSIDER!
THE MAGIC OF JIM HENSON AND THE ART OF PUPPETRY
Discuss how Jim Henson's genres transcended age, language, geography, and culture to influence people around the world. Natalie Conklin, facilitator, retired from education and is now sharing her love of visual and performing arts with her fellow OLLI members. Her class can be found on Tuesday afternoon.
WOMEN OF ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM
Explore the lives and works of often unknown female artist of the mid-twentieth-century art movement such as Elaine de Kooning, pictured above. Karen Lindsay, the facilitator, is an art enthusiast and has taught many popular art history classes at OLLI.
Her class can be found on Wednesday afternoon.
REDUCING OUR PAPER WASTE!
We have received input from members that they would like to see OLLI South reduce the amount of paper used for both environmental reasons and cost concerns. We have moved to online for our newsletters and flyers - directing members to our weekly emails and website. Since the catalog is also available on-line, we are giving members the opportunity to not receive a paper catalog. During registration, you will be asked if you need your next term's catalog mailed. The default answer is "No". In order to receive a mailed catalog for Fall 2019, you will need to change the answer to "Yes, I need a paper copy of the catalog mailed to me."
TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT OLLI!

Be sure to tell your friends about OLLI - you can forward this email to them and they can use the email to view the catalog and register too!
