OLLI at SOU Office and Campus Closed for Winter Break

Volunteers are essential to OLLI at SOU, and every volunteer deserves recognition, which is why we launched our new VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT feature, where we interview our volunteers once a month.

Our December Spotlight is an interview with three Venue & Technology Committee members that work closely with our instructors on classroom technology: Joyce Avery, Cliff Edwards and Cathy Kreisman.

If you want to discover the many volunteer opportunities open to our members, you're invited to our Volunteer Faire on Tuesday, January 14, 2–4 p.m., at Campbell Center.

Instructor Training on New Classroom Laptops

New Dell laptops have replaced the Chromebooks in every classroom. Winter term instructors are invited to an orientation on the new laptops next Thursday, January 2, 10 a.m. at the SOU Campbell Center. After the orientation, instructors will have the opportunity to break out and receive one-on-one practice in the classrooms. There is no need to register, just show up! Please email olli@sou.edu with questions, as we will be checking email intermittently over the break.
