Communication Survey - We Need More Responses!

Currently, we have 154 total responses (52 dads).

Our goal is 175 total responses (35 dads).

We have reached the dad goal - way to go dads!

We still need at least 21 parents to complete this survey.

When both goals are reached—all students will receive one out-of-uniform day!

Thank you for taking some time (only 10 minutes) to complete this survey, as the results help us make important changes to our communication tools to better serve our school community.

Your opinion counts - last years responses/data led to the following initiatives:

  • School website overhaul (coming soon)
  • Academic expectations for each grade level (starting Fall 2023)
  • Opportunities for parents and students to grow in their knowledge of internet safety with presentations and curriculum enhancements (ongoing)

This year's survey is now live, taking just ~10 minutes to complete!

Note - goal is a 20% increase in responses from last year:

i.e. specifically 175 families and 35 dads.

When we reach these milestones—all students will receive one out-of-uniform day!

The QR code and/or link to the survey is below.*

We pray you will consider completing the 2023 Communication Survey!

*We want this survey to be completely anonymous!

Friendly tip: ensure you log out of Google before taking the survey!

Each year the PTO kindly asks each family to contribute $100 to the PTO to help fund programming, school enrichment activities, teacher wish lists, and school improvements. Each family can meet their $100 obligation through a donation to the PTO or by raising $100 in SCRIP rebate sales. We acknowledge that this $100 obligation has previously been communicated at back to school night and through word of mouth so not every family might be aware of it. For this reason, we are sending this letter to communicate this request to all families and to explain how these funds are used.

Through the generosity of families both in volunteer work and meeting the $100 obligation, the PTO has been able to:

Sponsor over 50 School and Community Programs

Fund Academic Enrichment Programs

Fund School Enhancements

Including...

  • Catholic Schools Week
  • OLMC School Birthday Party
  • Lenten Baskets
  • Raider Reporter
  • Teacher Appreciation Events
  • Recess Equipment

Including…

  • NET Ministries (6th - 8th grade retreats)
  • STEAM Museum
  • Skydome (Mobile Planetarium)
  • STEM supplies 4th grade
  • 3rd Grade Retreat
  • 4th Grade Retreat
  • Legos with Dad
  • Math with Moms

Including:

  • 2022-2023 Teacher Wish-list items for Classrooms including mobile book bin storage unit, wobble stools, etc.
  • Teachers’ Pilgrimage to Italy
  • Teacher Workroom (to be completed over the summer)

This year the PTO is raising funds to provide continued support to community programs, enrichment activities, as well as school enhancements that help make our OLMC school community so incredible.

If you have already met the $100 contribution or have started working towards it, THANK YOU for your support it is greatly appreciated. You will receive a $25 discount on your book bill for next year once you reach that goal!

If you are not able to meet the goal this year, no problem, we appreciate any contribution you are able to make and ask that you keep the school in your prayers. If you are able to work towards the goal, you can utilize the SCRIP program to meet your goal or send in a check for $100 payable to OLMC PTO.  Thank you for your support!
