We will have the $50 per family registration fee again.

This is a family fee, not per child.

We are unable to accept payment online so please send in

your check (payable to OLMC)

or cash (exact change please)

to the school office by May 22, 2023

on Wednesday, May 17!

Come to Freddy’s, 2740 E. 146^th Street, and enjoy a meal and dessert! Please tell the cashier you are there to support OLMC and Freddy’s will generously donate 20% of the total sales to our school. Thank you for your support in this fundraiser! We appreciate all that each of you do to help make OLMC a fantastic school for our kids!

Yearbook Cover Design Competition - Grades 5-8

Share your artistic talents with us and help us design the year book cover for the 2022-23 yearbook!

Designs should be submitted electronically to [email protected] by Friday, May 19.

The design should be for both the front and back cover - total size is 11" x 17". Copies of past yearbooks are available in the library if you need inspiration.

Shoutout to my amazing PTO board members for showing the teachers all the extra appreciation last week during OLMC’s Teacher Appreciation Week. We had a fun week filled with snack carts, coffee carts, breakfast, giant cookies, and a gift card giveaway. The teachers also enjoyed a fiesta luncheon on Friday thanks to a fantastic group of volunteers!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the families that have already made their $100 donation to PTO this year whether through RaiseRight (SCRIP) or by check. Your generosity allows us to fund 100s of activities throughout the year as well as purchase thousands of items from the Teacher’s wish lists every summer. There is still time to donate if you have not already done so. Continue using RaiseRight to purchase gift cards or feel free to send in a check with your student. Families that meet the $100 goal receive a $25 discount off next year’s book bill!! DEADLINE for donating is May 18^th!

SAVE THE DATE for FIELD DAY! I have been working with Mrs. King and Mrs. Gardner to come up with some amazing ideas for this year’s event. Please stay tuned for volunteer opportunities. We will need a lot of parents to help make this day amazing! In the meantime, mark your calendars for May 30^th. Our goal is to hold the event OUTSIDE so we will reserve May 31^st as our backup😊 Thank you in advance for making this an amazing send-off for our students.

We are NOT having a summer sale this year - so this is your opportunity

2021-2022 Yearbooks were sent home Thursday/Friday (Apr 13/14)! If you have any questions about this, please email Amy Quinn at [email protected].

2022-2023 yearbooks are now on sale! Books are $20 each and may only be ordered online

at inter-state.com/order. Enter our school code: 77365N

Don't wait - order by May 20!

Please note the following immunizations are required for 6th grade unless a personal or medical exemption is provided. They are MCV4 (Meningococcal) and TDap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, & Pertussis). Please note, new personal or medical exemptions must be submitted for each school year. Documentation must be provided before the start of school on August 9.

Please continue to send updated vaccination records as you get them. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

For those students that have medications at school, we are asking that a parent or guardian find a time to pick up those medications from the nurse office on or before the last day of school on 5/31.

We have loved having the opportunity to get to know each and every one of your children. Thank you for trusting us to care for them while they are at school.
