E-Learning Day Friday:
February 12
This is a planned E-Learning day that has been on the calendar so our teachers are able to attend some Professional Development.

Please refer to page 22 of the Family Policy Guide for Planned E-Learning Day Guidelines:
  • Work will be posted to Google Classroom by 3:30pm the day before.
  • Teachers will not have specified office hours as they will be in & out of structured Professional Development throughout the day.
  • Please be patient waiting on teacher

KIDS HEART CHALLENGE!
All students in grades K-5th will be participating in the KIDS HEART CHALLENGE during their physical education class the week of February 8-12. This is a wonderful way for the kids to learn about their heart and how to keep it healthy by MOVING MORE, CHOOSING WATER, AVOIDING TOBACCO, AND BEING KIND!

It is optional for kids to raise funds to help kids - and all people- with special hearts.

Mrs. King & Mrs. Gardner are excited to share this program with your children!
Library Birthday Book Club
Happy Birthday to the newest members of the Birthday Book Club: Morgan Banich, Noah Dailey, Theodore Eggiman, Daniel Faltaous, Ella Frazer, Felicity Hein, Liam Hughs, Bryson Michaud, Jameson Michaud, Gabriel Shrift, and Claire Sinders. Thank you for your donation to our library! Your names have been placed inside of a new book for everyone to read and you will be receiving a bookmark and pencil during library special this week. Plus you're up on our Library Book Club wall!

Out of Uniform Day for Blood Donor Families:

Thank you to the parents & family members that donated blood this past weekend at the Knights of Columbus Parish Blood Drive. Your generous donation of time and blood will have a huge impact on the person and/or family that will benefit from your generosity.  

Students that have a family member that donated blood earned an "Out of Uniform Day" on Tuesday, February 23. 

Please refer to the family policy guide, page 32, for the Special Out Of Uniform Guidelines. Athletic pants may be worn. Please no yoga pants, leggings or jeggings. All clothing should be clean, loose fitting and free of holes, rips/tears or frayed edges.

Geography Bee!

The school Geography Bee will be held on Thursday, February 25. We are working on a plan to either live-stream or record and post a link for parents to view.

Each Social Studies class held a classroom geography bee recently. The winners of the classroom bees will compete in the school bee.

Cost: $15 per session or $50 for all 4
Coach Jaime Waymouth, Certified Strength and Conditioning Head Coach, will lead athletes in preparation for any sport and physical endurance.  This camp will work on speed development and agility.  Along with speed and agility, each training session will help to improve an athlete in areas of strength, acceleration and flexibility.  Athletes will assess progress through weekly video, laser time drills.  A final revaluation of progress will be given at the end of camp.
