Letter from the Principal
Dear OLMC Families,
I hope you are thoroughly enjoying these summer days.  I would like to inform you that the school will be officially closed during the month of July, but if you need immediate assistance please email .  The school email will be checked intermittently.  
This summer, the OLMC administration has been busy reviewing applications and conducting interviews as we seek to fill various teacher positions.  I am excited to share with you that we have hired Mrs. Melissa Hruskocy to be the 3A teacher next year. Mrs. Gonzalez has procured a teaching position closer to her family home, and we wish her the very best in her new job next year.  We have also hired Mrs. Adriana Arroyo to be our part-time 6-8th grade Spanish teacher. We warmly welcome Mrs. Hruskocy and Mrs. Arroyo to the OLMC family!
In addition, I am pleased to announce that the Lands' End website for our uniforms is up and running, and purchases can be made at any time.  Sales are being offered throughout the summer, so please take advantage of these opportunities. For instance, right now Lands' End is offering a 30% off sale until July 9. I anticipate that it would be natural for many parents to have some questions regarding our new uniform, so I drafted a simple sheet of FAQ's (click here to view).  If you have any further questions after reading this sheet, please send them to .  As a reminder, the Used Uniform Sale will take place in the school gym on July 24 from 4-6 p.m.  At this sale, there won't be sample items for the students to try on per se, but there will be samples of different uniform items to view and a Lands' End representative is planning on being present at this event to answer general questions. In May, I sent home Fit Kits that will help to size your children so you can order items that fit best.

Used Uniform & New Spirit Wear Sale:    
There will be a Uniform Event on July 24 from 4-6 PM in the Gym.    
What can I expect? 
  • Used School Uniforms for sale.  Most items are just $5 each.
  • Limited Selection of used Spirit Wear.
  • Used PE Uniforms are no longer available. Students in grades 4-7 must purchase the new PE Uniform through Lands' End website. Eighth graders amy
  • New Spirit Wear will be for sale from Distinct Images.
  • At this sale, there won't be sample items for the students to try on per se, but there will be samples of different uniform items to view and a Lands' End representative is planning on being present at this event to answer general questions.
Book Bills:    
Your family book bill letter was mailed on June 13 with your youngest child's report card.
Payment for the first half (or full amount, if you choose) of the book bill must be received in the church office by July 15, 2019.   If payment has not been received by the due date, and no communication of hardship has been expressed to the business manager, then you will forfeit your child(ren's) spot(s) in the school for this school year.
The second half payment will be due by November 30, 2019.

Get Involved - Volunteer Opportunities:     
Young children love to see their parents at school.  And believe it not, some Jr. High children do too!   
Here is your chance to get involved and continue to make OLMC a wonderful place.
