School Access During Drills

Once per quarter the school will conduct a fire, tornado and lockdown drill. These can take 3-5 minutes. During these drills parents will not have access to the school building. If you arrive to sign out your student for an appointment or to sign them in, you will need to wait until the drill has been completed before being admitted. Thank you for your understanding. 

**All volunteers are required you complete Virtus Training VIRTUS® Online (virtusonline.org and the *NEW* https://protectmokids.com/. Both are available online and when completed certificates need to be emailed to or dropped off at the school office. These are both diocesan requirements for volunteers in any school.**

CAFETERIA HELPERS are needed to assist with serving lunch each school day. All volunteers must be Virtus trained prior to signing up. Cafeteria sign-up

CROSSING GUARDS are needed to help with morning drop-off 7:30-8:00 a.m. If you are interested in helping get students through the parking lot safely before school, please email Mr. Podjenski, dpodjenski@olpls.org.

ROOM PARENTS are needed to help plan classroom parties for Halloween and Valentine's Day as well as take the lead planning gifts or celebrations for staff birthdays.

Planning to participate in the PTO Golf Tournament as a Panther Partner? Your Panther Partner Agreement Forms need to be turned into the school by 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 23 (tomorrow) to get the early access registration link. 

If you are already a Panther Partner and have not yet registered, please do so soon. Once registration is open to the public, we cannot guarantee a spot and it will be on a first come first serve basis. 

Registration will be open to the public August 25 and can be accessed by going to the Shamrock Hills website. 

Mark your calendars! First PTO Meeting is Tuesday, September 3 at 6:30. All are welcome and encouraged to attend to get involved in school activities.

Golf ball chances will be available for purchase at afternoon dismissal August 29 and September 6.

OLP CROSS COUNTRY: Now registering for OLP Cross Country. All boys and girls entering 3rd through 8th grades are eligible to participate. Register at plkc.org. Practices will begin Monday, August 26 and will take place Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Hartman Park.
