On April 20th of this year, our community voted unanimously to separate from the Catholic Apostolic Church in North America. At this point it is not worth neither our time, nor yours to relive the circumstance that led to the split. Suffice it to say, that arrogant autocratic authoritarianism is by no means the sole purview of the Roman Catholic Church. To put it succinctly, CACINA was NOT as billed.
In addition, since our inception as a community, we have had little support from the CACINA national church. To the contrary, we have received buckets full of antagonism and obstruction.
And so, in hindsight, we as a group see leaving CACINA as a blessing. Our dear Lady has untied a huge bothersome knot, and we are now free to pursue our mission to build the church.
Although we have been in contact with several, we are in no hurry to join another jurisdiction. For now, and with Our Lady's help, we will use our time to grow our community.
