Welcome to our October Newsletter!
Our Lady Undoer of Knots pray for us!

We are an
Independent Inclusive
Catholic Community

The Progressive Catholic Church International

We are pleased to announce that we will be entering into an inter-commnion agreement with the Progressive Catholic Church International as a first step to joining that jurisdiction.

Although are doing well as a truly independent Catholic community, there are advantages to belonging to a larger jurisdiction. We have looked into several and find the Progressive Catholic Church International (PCCI) to be very compatible with our thinking and practice.

Under the new agreement Fathers Al and Steve will receive new faculties as recognized validly ordained priest with legitimate apostolic succession.

PCCI's Bishop-elect Bill Mentz and Father Al continue our conversations. In late August, Bill came to visit us to concelebrate mass with our community. He will return October 24th.

Please pray for us as we continue in our discernment.

Our Lady Undoer of Knots is a faith community in the
Federation of Christian Ministries
The Living Water Inclusive Catholic Community is a local Maryland community affiliated with the Roman Catholic Women's Priest movement.

Frs. Al and Steve have had several discussions Bishop Andrea Johnson and Rev. Gloria Carpeneto from LWICC to explore mutually beneficial opportunities to work together.

We now promulgate each others liturgies every Sunday so that if one of our members cannot attend one from their community, they have the option to join the other's celebration.
We hope to expand our areas of cooperation to things such as sharing clergy, projects of social justice, education and spiritual development and more.

Pray for us as we continue this discernment.
