Letter of Compliance Timeframe
House buying and selling season is upon us! If you are planning to sell your home, please review the following information:
  • We suggest that all property owners in OM request a Letter of Compliance prior to placing your house on the market. This will give you time to proactively address any potential non-compliant items.
  • It takes us approximately THREE WEEKS to issue a Letter of Compliance. To ensure your closing is not delayed, don’t wait until your buyer asks for it!
  • Letters are issued as a PDF via email.
  • At this time, due to staffing constraints we are unable to complete follow-up inspections on properties found to be non-compliant; however, we will continue to work with you through the entire process.
  • To better understand what is expected for a property to be compliant, please contact [email protected] for a copy of our Compliance Checklist
  • To request a resale packet, please contact Sandy Cederbaum at [email protected].

For all of the information regarding buying/selling in Oakland Mills please visit our website.

CA OPEN SPACE
50/50 SURVEY PROGRAM

Does your land abut CA Open Space? Then you could qualify to have CA pay for half of your home's boundary survey!

To ensure accurate installation of exterior alterations within your property boundaries, a survey of your property can be done. In order to assist with that effort and to prevent encroachments onto CA Open Space, the 50/50 Survey Program was created. CA now offers a discounted survey for community members who own property adjacent to CA Open Space.
