Building bridges across age and cognitive barriers through art

Intergenerational Engagement during the Pandemic
How do we stay in-touch at a time when physical distancing is necessary? OMA responded to this challenge by creating a fully online training for OMA facilitators, designing an online service learning course for students in the fall, and promoting the Creative Caregiving Guide for caregivers to make the arts a part of the caregiving routine. This summer issue focuses on our efforts to stay connected despite the pandemic.  Read more about our ideas here

Art Idea: Celebrating World Art Day
On April 15, 2020, we celebrated World Art Day with artists and creatives from across the United States. Due to physical distancing requirements, many people were unable to leave their homes. We asked how artists have stayed creative while at home. See photos and watch the full video of the event on our website.
