Old Market Association has been working with the City of Omaha's Homeless Services Coordinator Tamera Dwyer to develop a process that will connect people who are experiencing homelessness in our neighborhood with her.
Our hope is to connection them to our communities' street outreach teams and hopefully be able to work on securing housing with them. It is very important to include Tamera at the start of this process, so she can work to identify all people in Omaha that are experiencing homelessness on the streets and work quickly to build trust, connect them to appropriate services they want, and get them into a home of their own.
Please complete this form if there is a person (or persons) experiencing unsheltered homelessness in your neighborhood and Tamara will reach out to you if any additional information is needed.

As a reminder, if you observe or come into contact with a person who is not well, being dangerous, disruptive, or doing things that jeopardize their safety and the safety of others please contact the police or emergency services by calling 9-1-1.
A person being housed or unhoused should not be a consideration when needing to contact emergency services or police if the situation clearly is not safe.
Thank you all for helping us meet the needs of everyone in our neighborhood in a compassionate and dignified way. Feel free to share the link with others. Your collaboration is greatly appreciated and valued!
The Downtown Improvement District is hosting a forum with Tamera on Wednesday, May 10th at 5:30pm via zoom. Register here if you are interested.
Thank you,
Old Market Association & Tamera Dwyer
