We hope you are settling well into the new school year. Some really great events are coming up: the OMHS Fine Arts Boosters' presentation of Into the Woods, SFES's fundraiser with the Harlem Wizards on October 17th (get your tickets before they're gone!), and the Oakland Mills Community Association Education Committee's Board of Education Candidates Forum, just to name a few. See below for more information and to take a look at other school happenings.
And don't forget, we will be celebrating Oakland Mill's 50th Birthday at the Oakland Mills Fall Festival on October 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enjoy a performance by the OMHS Marching Band and support the SFES fundraising hot dog stand. There will also be craft vendors, children's activities, and much more. The Fall Festival is held on the grounds of The Other Barn and the Oakland Mills Village Center and held rain or shine (moved indoors if the weather is inclement).
Have a great day!
