For over a decade, OMMS staff members have worked with Rebuilding Together of Howard County to repair and renovate homes. They work with clients who are elderly, ill, handicapped, or financially-strapped to make the homes more livable and safer. PTSA Meeting: Helping Children who have Anxiety

The PTSA will host
Dr. Krystal M. Lewis, a clinical psychologist who will discuss ways to identify anxiety in children and implement preventative steps to help them thrive in school and at home. Parents of rising 6th graders are invited to join from 6 to 7 p.m, as well as other parents in the Oakland Mills community.

Make a difference! Help enhance the academic and social development of identified Howard County elementary school students in schools near you through a consistent, supportive relationship with a child. Volunteers must be available weekday, daytime hours to meet one-on-one with an assigned student during the school day or with students in small groups in afterschool programs.
