All State & Conference Chair Positions POSTED
|
|
Megan and Branden Hansen will be stepping down as OMEA's All State Managers. Both have successfully managed this position over the years and have worked closely with the All State ensemble managers to ensure consistency and quality to each of our All State students. The OMEA Executive Board wishes the very best to "Team Hansen" as they move forward to new adventures!
At the conference this past January, the OMEA Board of Controlled voted in favor of creating two paid positions: All State Chair and Conference Chair. The All State Chair will continue the mission that Megan and Branden Hansen carried out during their tenure. The Conference Chair will work closely with the President-Elect and 2nd Vice President to deliver the same coordination and standard of excellence to our annual state conference.
Please refer to this document regarding duties and timeline:
Each position will be paid $3,600.00 for the year (August 1, 2023 - July 31, 2024). These are contract positions and are renewable at the discretion of the OMEA Executive Board when the contract year expires.
If you are interested, please email a cover letter, resume, and references to JJ Sutton at oregonmusicdirector@gmail.com. Applicants who are selected as finalists should expect an interview via Zoom with executive board members. The OMEA Executive Board would like to have these positions filled by the end of March.
