Oklahoma Cities and Towns Gathered for the
104th OML Annual Conference & Exposition
Nearly five hundred (500) municipal officials from across the state attended the 2018 Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) annual conference and exposition in Oklahoma City, September 11-13. This year’s event marked the 104th gathering and was the largest attended in OML history. Read on for more conference news and this year's award winners.

Regional Round Tables
Thank you all for making the Regional Round Tables a great success! Let’s keep the momentum going by making this second round of meetings even bigger and better!

If you missed the first meetings, be sure to make it to round two! Don’t forget, the Regional Round Table is a great way to network with other municipalities from your area, share best practices, collaborate on projects, and discuss common challenges. Mayors! Show Off Your City! Bid Now for the 2019 Mayor's Summer Conference
Attention Mayors! We are now soliciting bids for cities and towns to host the 2019 Mayor’s Summer Conference. What a great way to show off your city! The tentative dates for the 2019 Conference are June 19-22, 2019. MCO will accept proposals for this conference until November 1, 2018.

Previous conferences have offered municipalities the opportunity to showcase their community development and improvement projects and to demonstrate their leadership in the State of Oklahoma.  More Information

A writer and photographer follow the Little River through mysterious and scenic southeastern Oklahoma.

All the birders have left the convention. The last signs of life here, amid empty chicken dinner plates on tables in the conference room at Idabel’s Museum of the Red River, are ornithologist Mia Revels and me. Our conversation has taken an unexpected turn. Read Article
