Two grant programs introduced last year by the Oklahoma Arts Council will open again in August for the current fiscal year. Applications for funding through Oklahoma Arts and the Military Grants and Classroom Supply Grants for Visual and Performing Arts will be available soon. More information

Oklahoma is Counting on our Residents to Complete the 2020 Census
Attention Municipal Leaders: OML wants to encourage each of you to continue to promote the importance of completing the 2020 Census to your residents. For each resident that completes the census and submits it, our state will receive an estimated $1,675 per year in funding for special projects, grants and support for your community.

The 2020 Census takes less than 15 minutes to complete and the impact it has on your community is far-reaching and long-lasting.

Check out Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) August Classes
We would like to highlight a few of the August LTAP classes coming up. Two big classes right out of the gate are the MUTCD/Flagging (Roads Scholar 4 class) and the Traffic Incident Management class (Roads Scholar 6). These two classes are happening back to back on August 5th and 6th in McAlester. Also, Effective Communication & Difficult Conversations in Chelsea on August 12th. Other great classes coming up include; Aggregate Road Maintenance, CDL Prep, CDL Pre-Trip Inspection, and Pavement Preservation. More Information
