The OML District 2 Board seat has become vacant as of January 9, 2019 due to the Honorable Jason Nichols being elected as OML Vice President. Nominations will be received until Friday, February 22, 2019 and will be presented to the OML Board of Directors at their next meeting.

OML Presents Annual Practical Guide Workshop

The Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) will present its annual Practical Guide Workshop to municipal staff on Friday, March 8 at the Rose State College Community Learning Center in Midwest City.

The topics, which were developed based on information inquiries at OML, will focus on common areas of concern and interest to municipal staffs, as well as the best practices for each.  The topics include:
  • Medical Marijuana
  • Competitive Bidding
  • Code Enforcement
  • Easements and Right-of-Way
  • Understanding Your Role as an Elected Official
  • Open Meetings/Record Act
Oklahoma Water Resources Board Announces Call for Projects
As part of the CWSRF's strategic planning efforts and to ensure adequate funding for Oklahoma's wastewater infrastructure, the OWRB is issuing a call for eligible wastewater projects and other pollution control/water quality activities that may require funding between State Fiscal Years (SFY) 2020 and 2024. This process does not obligate the participating authority or district to a specific project or dollar amount; the information gathered will only be used to assist the OWRB in tracking funding availability for potential projects.
