Beginning the week of January 23, 2023, DOT will host a series of 10 virtual workshops to share information and gather feedback from you about active transportation opportunities and challenges. These meetings will be highly interactive and engaging. Mark your calendars! More Information

Grant Application BootCamp

Submitting strong applications for federal infrastructure money can be challenging for small and mid-sized cities, towns, and villages. To assist underserved local governments with populations of 150,000 residents or fewer, NLC and the Local Infrastructure Hub are offering a series of bootcamps. The bootcamps are designed to help local governments take advantage of the grant opportunities available through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. More Information

The Oklahoma Bar Association Municipal Law Articles From The 2022 November Bar Journal

Legislative Session Starting Soon

The 2023 Legislative Session will begin on Monday, February 6. Each week, the Legislative Team sends a recap of Legislative activities to keep our members informed of what is happening at the Oklahoma State Capitol. We also have an Action Alert program where we reach out with specific requests for you to contact your Legislators when bills are up in Committee or on the Floor. Our Legislative Advocacy efforts are not possible without the support and buy-in of our members. If you want to receive these communications, please click here.

January Is Mentor Month

The Oklahoma Municipal League and the Mayors Council of Oklahoma are partnering with Mentor4OK to encourage mayors to support their local mentoring programs by honoring mentors throughout the Mentoring Awareness Month held in January 2023.
